Ray works for a small telecoms equipment manufacturer in the depths of welsh Wales as a production and design engineer and is guilty for much of BT's termination and distribution equipment of the last 20 years.
Proving to be 'frightfully good at computers' he was volunteered the task of rebuilding the ailing computer network and reducing the IT budget for Austin Taylor in 1999. Armed with little more than his imagination, stubborn streak and working knowledge of some very strange computer systems (some of which he wrote), Ray has been masquerading as the IT Manager ever since.
For Ray, Asterisk and VoIP are the solution to a problem, so his knowledge and skills have developed through trial, lots of errors and a good dose of stubbornness. If all that fails, he still keeps a large hammer in his desk.
