Admin Profile : Ian Plain

Living in a small village near Bath (UK), Ian started working for BT in 1981 as a technical apprentice, leaving in 1991 to go to New Zealand. After 2 years wandering here and there skiing, cycling and climbing he started work again in 1994 for various telecoms companies, specialising in the Mitel system. A subsequent spell at Orange, working on their wildfire system, led to his working on comercial IP based PBX devices in 1999 when Mitel launched its first system.

He finished work again in 2003 to look after his daughter and set up his own company. Ian now provides support and training to end users and dealers on Mitel and Asterisk systems as well as supplying new and refurbished equipment.
