I am currently using my SPA-3102 as a PSTN gateway to make calls from asterisk. This works remarkably well and call quality is good. The issue I have is that I forward certain calls to my mobile phone and use the SPA that is connected to my home number to make the call to my mobile phone. I am using the 'p' option in my dial command which asks the caller for their name and plays it to me before putting the caller thru. I have the choice of taking the call or sending them to VM.

The issue I have is that when asterisk sends the call to the spa-3102 to place the call the spa-3102 sends SIP 200 OK as soon as call starts to ring and not when the call is answered by me on my mobile phone. This means that the announcement of the caller has already started by the time I answer. I am unsure why the SPA sends 200 OK before the call is answered but I am guessing it's some config issue on sip settings or sip settings under PSTN tab.

Any help would be appreciated.

I would recommend you to use Voxilla - Linksys SPA 3xxx Configuration Wizard for Asterisk. You will need to register to get access to it.
