Hello,
I have got a module linksys PAP2. I suscribe to a VOIP provider in Belgium (Voxbone) where I got a fix number.
Outgoing calls are working well but I have a problem with incoming calls. After the startup of the linksys module I can get incoming calls during about 10 or 15 minutes.
After this, incoming calls are not working anymore and callers are redirected to the voice mail.
To solve the problem I have to restart the linksys PAP2 module and then incoming calls are working again for 15 minutes again. REM : I tried with a different linksys PAP2 module and I got the same issue.
Do you have any idea which could help me to solve this issus?
Thanks in advance for your reply. |
Hi, I don't have a solution to your problem, I am afraid, but I am going to put here some notes regarding a probably similar problem that I am having here in Italy. I can make calls, but I cannot receive them. When I call my regional number, "someone" picks up the call and dumps me right away.
I have a linksys PAP2 with firmware version 5.1.5. The modem/router is a Sitecom WL-154 with firmware version 2.9.5.0(RUE0.C2A)3.5.18.0.
On the router,
DMZ is enabled, linking to the PAP2 IP. The following ports have been forwarded to the PAP2 using the virtual server on the router:
Rule # Application Start End Local IP
1 Linksys PAP 2 5060 5061 192.168.0.10
2 Linksys PAP 2 53 53 192.168.0.10
3 Linksys PAP 2 69 69 192.168.0.10
4 Linksys PAP 2 10000 20000 192.168.0.10
On the PAP2, STUN is disabled.
Codec is
G729a.
Hope this information is sufficient for someone to have clues! Happy to give any more info that is applicable.
This is my first posting here. Cheers.
