Hey guys,

I'm currently a student playing around with Exchange 2007, and i want to be able to use its UM capabilities. Generally, what you'd do is use a full on IP/PBX piping through to exchange to achieve this, but i dont see any reason why you really need to, as i am fine with only having one line into it..

All i need is a SIP Proxy of sorts. A piece of software which will happily connect to my SIP line provider in order to recieve incoming calls, and then spit them back out at exchange 2007's TCP SIP port when they do arrive.

Does anyone know of a piece of software which can do this?

Many Thanks!

TCP SIP port? Most SIP proxy can only support UDP port. In your case, the exchange 2006 acts as SIP client, right?

Well, Exchange 2007 has a TCP Port open, which you're supposed to point your IP/PBX to, and it will accept SIP Protocol calls and handle them properly.

Brekeke SIP Server now supports TCP.

You might want to try this software. I am evaluating it now for use with Microsoft OCS (but I'm having trouble setting up OCS).

I've had good experience with this software in other situations.

I have a current implementation running freeswitch and exchange 2007. If you are still looking.

Thanks
