Hi,
After some extensive searching i could not find
any free softphone that performs call transfer.

I tried the SNOM softphone which apparently supports
it but it does not seem to work.

Call transfer works via an IP phone to the softphone
so i don;t think there;s any problem with my server.

Any other experiences ?

Regards,
Lambros

There are a number of soft clients that offer some kind of call transfer; perhaps not what you are looking for though. As I remember, Vbuzzer, Voxalot, FreeWorldDialup(Pulver). The older (free) version of X-lite did not but the paid version did. I gather that the new paid version also offers this (Counterpath) but I have not used it.

I downloaded zoiper but did not get much luck with it. I think you will need to forward SIP & RTP ports as I found that STUN did not help. In the same situation, X-Lite works OK as does Wengophone.
