I reckon this particular one isn't a freebie. Also, does this mean this is the only route one can implement click2call for all platform (at least for the moment)? How is the audio quality and CPU resources usage when using a java based client based on IAX for a click2call connection?

That's good news. I've used the Mexuar applet myself.

It does suffer with some issues - some browser toolbars can be problematic with it and there is no echo cancellation (the worst thing about headset click-to-call is the headset).

Now it's in open-source perhaps it can be moved forward by the developer community?
