Hi Rogerk

Thanks for visiting this forum, the answer to your question is No, you can only call Skype users from Skype - it is a closed protocol and whilst it is classed as VOIP it is not a SIP based service.

Get your Skype friends to signup for a voipuser account and then you can call them by dialling their voipuser number
