Welcome to voipuser!

Without more information it is impossible to tell what your problem could be. Are you using a router and/or an ATA? Can you make calls using the voipstunt soft phone client?

I understand that if you try to register on voipcheap you need to use a different username. Other than that, have you made any changes to your computer setup at all (anything) that might have changed the way that it is working?

I suggest that you go to another computer (if you can) and set up voipstunt and see if you can register and call from there. It would seem that either your ISP or voipstunt mast have made some kind of change. You need to locate the problem before you you go much farther.

Just Imagine.
Something must wrong from the Betamax Server Side.

if you want to make Try.
Go to Regedit. in Windows , Software, Remove Registry.

and Reinstall the Software.

It will solve if your system change something automatically.

Please be very careful to make any suggestion to modify/remove registry on a windows OS. This may render the computer to useless and/or unable to boot unless the concerned parties are competent about the windows OS installed on their computers. Just my $0.02.

For the OP, If you did not make any changes to your computer since the last time you were able to use the VoIP service, there is a chance your ISP has started to block the SIP traffics and/or the possible of a glitch on the server end as suggested by fuelvoip.

Hi!
i have the same problem.i registerd 2 accounts internetcalls and voipstunt. i bought 10 euro credit for voipstunt via paypal. I make just one call and i still have more than 8 euro but i get that messege" the other party ended...." the other software i mean internetcalls is still working but i have no cedit on it. i think it might be a problem with paying by paypal for this is the second time that happens me. I dont think that deals with OS or internet connection because i checked both and no changes made....
my opinion is that finarea team should do something to solve the problem .maybe by this forum for they dont reply any epost...waitning for a good idea to solve the problem...thanks in advance

Let us look at this logically. Why would any VOIP provider block paying clients from using their service?

Chances are that something has changed with your setup. Maybe your University has a new policy on VOIP ? Many have. You need to check the following ...

1) That your Betamax account is still valid. (Install the application on a laptop, move it to another location away from your Uni with an alternative internet provider).

2) Download and use the Voipuser ports tester to see if Port 5060 is blocked.

3) Ask your University IT department if VOIP is blocked

4) Try to connect to us here at Voipuser - we exist to test and experiment and you are welcome to do a few test calls.

Check that RTP ports are being forwarded to your computer from your router. You may have installed something or accidentally changed your setup. Since you are registered with voipstunt it is probably a ports problem.
