Hey,
I'm trying to use Globe 7 but I seem to have a problem connecting. when I log in the window says "trying to" which I assume means trying to connect. I can watch video and everything else but I can't call anyone. I am behind a university fire wall so I'm wondering if that could be the problem.
I can use most other similiar applications like skype or msn.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks |

Greeting lazerking andwelcome to VoIPUser forums.
There is a lot of variables in question when you encountered such a problem. You could be dealing with misconfiguring your softphone or something else, i.e. firewall on your computer and/or university LAN. Besides that, if you were to post here your configurations, I believe other users may be able to help. |

Hi Amit and welcome to Voipuser
I think you should watch another one of their advertising Videos which will top up your account by a further 30 cents and then give it another try. And are you sure you are putting the full international dialling code (as if you were calling from a US PSTN Number).
Does inbound work? Did you register for that?
The option is to swap to a more conventionally funded provider. Some systems block outgoing if there is insufficient credit for at least a one minute connection to that destination. Top up or try calling a cheaper destination. |

In terms of simplicity and ease of use then Skype takes some beating. It really is a plug and play application. If both parts of your family register then calls between you are free and you will not need to learn any terminology or mess about with tecnical issues. You will both need to connect to broadband (ADSL)to use it properly.
Skye can be downloaded freely from its .com address |

Hi,
You don't need to use(minimum credit of 0.30cents)
You just watch video for 1 hrs you get 30 cents.
30 cents = 30 minutes call to Singapore (as of their rates 0.01 cent/ minute)
Fare enough if you talk weeklyor 3 to 4 days.
You just watch videos and tell your family to call from !@£$%^ softphone from INDIA to Singapore Dial only 65-9 or 6 or 8 area codes number
No need of 00(it should work with 00 too)
So you don't need to use that Skype which consume(more CPU uage when in call).and Don't need to be each other online @ same time.
If want to use same time online Communication then yahoo amd MSN messenger much more better option
OR VOIPUSER is also best.
So Better Idea you watch video's in Singapore Add credit to account and your falimy will call you from INDIA to Singapore from that Account.
No cost to any one (Apart of INTERNET)

!@£$%^ seems to be turnkey package and from what I gather from the limited info on their site it is unlikely they dont directly offer SIP setup info that could be used in alternative software or via a ATA/Hardphone installation.
Be aware of this from the FAQ that you will surely have read?

If you like to use a firewall, please keep the following port open:
UDP (in, out): Port 5060
If you use a router, activate "port forwarding". |
I am sure someone will come up with a workaround to decoding their setup and make it possible to use the service outside their application. |

All the people presenting the thing for experts. I was beginner and this post helped me I m pasting here
A. !@£$%^ is an internet based telephony provider having thier personalized software.
B. There are genral purpose programs like xlite, ATA etc. you can use these programs with most of the internet telephony providers.
C. People using internet telephony like general pupose programs because they can have one program and use most of the Internet telephony provider. But for each Internet telephony Provider they have to provide the program with the setting of the provider.
D. !@£$%^ wants people to use thier own personlized program because they are using ads in their native program.For this they had not provided the settings for general purpose program. But infact their program is a same program like other general purpose programs. So they had encoded the information. Now these pople wants to use general purpose program. But they are in problem of finding the settings of !@£$%^ to be used with their general purpose programs. They go step by step as follows.
(Dont worry with the word SIP it is the name for the general purpose internet telephony programs named Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). This name is granted cuz these programs also support messaging etc. To save time Dont go in technicality.)
1) To find out which SIP password to use, you have to login with !@£$%^ software client, at least once.
After your first successful login the information we need is saved into the file CREDEN.INI,
which can be found in the program installation directory of !@£$%^ (c:\program files\!@£$%^).
2) Now open CREDEN.INI in your text editor (mostly double click is enough).
You will find your authentication details there.
Code:
[Authentication Details]
AUTO_LOGIN=false
user_email= your !@£$%^ login email address/id
user_email_pw= your !@£$%^ login password, encoded
USER_VDID= your SIP ID!
USER_VDID_PW= your SIP pw, which is reversed and encoded!
3) To find out your SIP pw use eliafino's coding table for decoding and reverse the order of the code.
For example:
If you find following information in your CREDEN.INI file.
Code:
[...]
USER_VDID=777123456789
USER_VDID_PW= 110001 110002 110003 //decoded 123, reversed 321
[...]
Your SIP login information for this example would be.
Code:
SIP id= 777123456789
SIP pw= 321
SIP proxy= one of these:
84.45.70.8
84.45.70.9
84.45.70.10
84.45.70.11
84.45.70.12
84.45.70.13
84.45.70.14
84.45.70.15
84.45.70.16
