Can't create SIP Account

Hi, I've just signed up here, as I'd like to try out VoIP to see if it meets my needs. All went well till I tried to create a SIP account - the web page complained that I was using a free email address, and needed to register a "proper" one in my profile. I then updated my profile with my ISP email account (an ntlworld.com address which I rarely use) and tried again - same problem. Tried logging out and back in again to see if it was a problem with the session not picking up my changes, but it still won't let me create a SIP account. Can anyone suggest what the problem is?

That's normal, and how it's intended.

It is not only because of bulk registration certain email accounts need to the watched; one in particular (popular with students) gives us endless problems at our university. While they can mail to to us, when we mail to them the email is never delivered. In addition, the mail is often rejected at our end by the university spam filters! Many universities now insist that their students take a university email account at registration.
