Hi asiddiqu50 and welcome to VoIP User.

As far as I can tell you do not have a SIP account here? So I'm not sure exactly what you've logged into and how?

I am trying to make a call through the protocol IAX2, although the DSL connection works fine and I'm able to make calls through the protocol, but the dialup does not connect. Can you advise?. Thanks.

The VoIP User IAX service is inbound only, so this means you can only use IAX on numbers in the My Numbers section of the website which allow you to receive calls.

To use our outbound service to place calls you need to use SIP.

So if you do get a login then i assume you are using a different network then VoIP user in which case can you let us know which network and how you setup your dialplan etc?

Regards,

Tj
