CLI used for outbound calls?

What CLI number is being used for our outbound calls? Is it one global number, our voipuser number, or do you pick up what we send in the SIP message so therefore it is whatever you set it to in Asterisk for example?

Also, is there a way to disable the CLI (if the it is set via the SIP message, then easy with Asterisk)?

We'll be making it user-configurable as soon as we can, so you'll be able to select any of your control panel numbers as an alternative.

We can't make it completely user-configurable in a "type in what you want" kind of way, because as a provider, the CLID is our responsibility, and putting in a number which is not one of callers (let's say you put in someone elses number) is a criminal offence in the UK. And we'd be the ones committing the criminal offence.
