Final Poll Results:-
Quick poll, have your say.
The forum poll doesn't allow for a lot of flexibility, so do post in thread instead if you want something that isn't listed or want to make a point about something.

None of the other 3 options sounds very exciting!

More Inbound PSTN DID's for other countries sounds great.
(SCL maybe Santiago, Chile, +56)
Also add terminations for calling to mobiles but only if your Account rating is over 7 for example.
And modify the actual account rating and put it aprox minutes left for example.
regards.

Hi Ralph,
We're open to suggestions, I just listed three things that were possible to get a gauge, more than anything, on what we do first, or if we ditch an idea altogether.
This is really helpful for us though - thanks everyone for responding.

I have voted the "Inbound PSTN DID's for other countries" option.
Probably you dont remember me, I give you info from the spanish telco market some time ago.
Feel free to contact me if you need help joining the Spanish market.
Cheers,
Andrés (KirO)

Inbound PSTN DID's for other countries --> other websites provide it, nothing new here...
More termination options (H323 / Google Talk etc) --> just use other parties' software...
Personalised Outgoing Voicemail Message --> doesn't seem exciting
More Goodies (Please specify in thread) --> dirt cheap VoIP hardware w/good support (most hardware are sold at an outrageous price, I am in Asia and I am laughing a lot when seeing how people are scammed -- why not buying a bunch of hardware from Hong Kong and sell it here?).
By the way, the pictures in the "VoIP Phone Reviews" are dead.

I would love to have my calls terminate at mobile numbers for example. But it can't be afforded at 0845 rates.
So how about setting the system so that I earn "credits" for the inbound calls to my 0845 number which make a profit which I can then use to offset against termination to numbers that would make a loss.

I'd second that.
What I'd really like to see is more activity in the hardware reviews section of the website. There haven't been any new entries for a while and existing ones are not date stamped so it's hard to know what the latest technology. That's just one area of the site that needs more energy. A tutorials section, or at least links to VOIP tutorial sites, would be great also. We don't need to be another WIKI but while the Forums are lively, the main site needs a good kicking! Keep up the good work.

Inbound PSTN for Portugal +351
I'm a programmer myself (python), so if the admins think of any kind of help I could offer, feel free to contact me.
Cheers and good luck on further upgrades voipuser.org might get.

I totally agree. For the many of us using OpenPBX and/or Asterisk systems in our homes and offices, IAX support would be greatly appreciated.
