i can't get to my admin. I have a Sipura 2100 ands I was setting everything and than I tried to get back to my admin and it asks for user name and password. I never put a password for the device, but i did put i think some of the right stuff for my voip provider. If thats so, will the voip provider now be able to program my device and give me login, if need be, but i'm sure i won't need if they can setup everything. is that the way it works?
thanks

Welcome to Voipuser forums.

You have joined a rather old thread and it might have been better to start a new one.

The SPA 2100 is a fairly sophisticated device and was initially released for and expected to be supplied preconfigured by and locked to particular voip providers. The NA model was also available that was never locked. How did you come by the 2100?
If you got it from your voip provider free or cheaply it is probably locked. If you purchased the NA model then it is not locked but if you purchased and unlocked version then you may have relocked it not to the original voip provider. Can you access the ATA using your phone?

Tell us as much as you can about the ATA, where it came from etc.

You were in luck then and you must have an ATA that was not locked.
How cheap a provider is depends very much on your needs, who you call and usage. Some time by the minute and some by the second and some have a connect and/or minimum charge. Skype rates, for the places that I call, are quite high but they may be a bargain to other places.

to access the config web page of the ATA
dial ****
then 110#
then 7932#

it will then ask what value to set
press 1 #
and then 1 to confirm

I got this from the config manual for SPA2102
