SiVuS - The VoIP Vulnerability Scanner

Written by mlaw on Apr 24, 2006 - 11:17 PM

Came across this earlier today, not had a chance to try it yet but looks interesting from the user guide. Anyone else got any experience of using it?

"SiVuS is the first publicly available vulnerability scanner for VoIP networks that use the SIP protocol. If you are not familiar with SIP you can browse through the on-line tutorials that are listed at the end of the SiVuS User Guide or under the SIP Help tab in the SiVuS interface. Note that the SiVuS guide is outdated and we are working on providing a new guide with the new release that is coming out towards the end of this year."

Very interesting - also nice to see a project like this that's also open-source.

Haven't yet had the chance to try it, but will see if I can over the weekend.

hi ,

Is it possible to send RTP packets with SiVus with modification of various headers of RTP packets.if yes then where can i get the user information about it.

By the way this tool is very helpful for analyzing the vulnerability of any sip based server. But still there are many ares which need to address.

thanks
