My config details are
Identity: sip:prakash@voipuser.org
Realm : voipuser.org
username : prakash
Password:*******
Proxy Server: sip.voipuser.org
Stun Server: stun.voipuser.org
Enable r port :1
AutoAnswerMode : 1

In this I tried with/without stun server, enable/disable r-Port etc
But always it says timeout error

Any help is appreciated,
Prakash

Sounds to me like you're behind a NAT device that will not work with STUN as the softphone is not getting the resitration reply back from the server.

Port forwarding 5060 and some RTP ports to the PC running the softphone will solve it, but may be a bit of a pain.

Not much we can do there. Commercial SIP based service providers will in this situation provide a proxy. We can't, as it's expensive to provision....

I'm having problem like Prakash. I built and run my SipXezphone on Windows XP. I tried to integrate it with my Asterisk server, but nothing seems to work. My setting are as follows:

Identity:116@192.168.0.149
Realm : 192.168.0.149
username : 116
Password:password
Proxy Server: 192.168.0.149
Stun Server: <blank>
Enable r port :<blank>
AutoAnswerMode : <blank>

the msg that i got was "REGISTER_FAILED:sip:116@192.168.0.149"

i'm running out of time to complete it. I've been looking at the same problem for almost a week already. Would be appreciate if someone can guide me through.
