Hi,
Can someone post a detailed explanation of how to route the "extra numbers" from voipuser to appear as incoming trunks on an A@H box? I have tried to follow the current posts, but get lost as to what I should fill in the my numbers panel and how this should tie up with the trunks settings within A@H and or my existing username and password for voipuser.
I managed to setup my initial number with no problems thanks to the excellent postings, thanks to all concerned.
Regards and Happy New Year Steve |

Hi SteveBC1, Welcome to Voipuser,
Getting My Numbers to work is a bit maddening, if only because there appears to be a bit of a glitch in the system somewhere.
But this is what to do to get an IAX termination:-
In My Numbers select Destination One for IAX2 termination and enter Context:Password@Address
Where:
Context is going to be the inbound trunk name
Password is a password
Address is your IP address (it can be a URL as long as it points to your server)
Select Destination 2 as your primary termination (I said there was a glitch?)
And save
In your AAH DID numbers create an entry for the new number in the form 44your new number (less the 0)
In Trunks create an IAX trunk.
In the outbound section enter a name say VOIPUSERIAX.
Leave the default junk in the Peer Settings (if you delete it AAH will complain)
For the Inbound Settings
Insert the context name you called in My Numbers
And user details are:
context=from-pstn
secret=password from above
type=user
username=context from above
Remember to forward port 4569 on your firewall and all should be well
Notes for TrixBox and AAH2.8 users
The only real change in this sequence for TrixBox users is that What was DID Route is now called Inbound Routing.
Also note that VoipUser does not offfer fax over IP from its Asterisk server, so if you disable fax it will speed things up a little |

Yes, for some reason destination 1 and 2 gets messed up at the switch end for IAX2 termination. We haven't quite got to the bottom of that bug yet.

DID numbers are entered in to DID Routing, which you will find in the AMP Portal, Setup screen.
Additional Numbers show in My Numbers as 08xx xxx xxxx. But Voipuser uses the number in International STD format, thus the number will be presented to your server as 448xxxxxxxxx. |

I don't think it is just for the IAX2 termination. I have been getting some strange results when trying to switch destinations using the control panel. See this post: http://www.voipuser.org/forum_topic_4020.html |

Yes, it's combinations of VoIP based termination, not just IAX2 - sorry.
We're looking at it.... |
