Is it possible to call the unique name of a contact of voipbuster by the SPA-3000? Voipbuster users don't have a "number"... |

Hello zooster and welcome to Voipuser.
Yes, you can do it by configuring voipbuster's user name in speed dials. You cannot dial name by using the phone keys.

Ok, may u exactly explain step by step how to call a contact?
Let's start using x-lite, I'll try by sipura once I've succeded to use X-lite.
Thanks for support. |

H Zooster:
I have assumed you have voipbuster configured in your Sipura 3000 Line 1. If you do, then go to User 1 tab, Speed Dial Settings section and in Speed Dial n: type the user name. Example: set Speed Dial 2: zooster. When you want to call zooster then pick up the phone and dial 2# (speed dial number 2), the Sipura 3000 will dial zooster@voipbuster.com.
X-Lite behaves different than Sipura 3000, so you cannot just test in X-lite to then try in the Sipura 3000.

Thx, and may you tell me the exact config of x-lite?
And what does the contact sees in his voipbuster when I try to call ? Do I have to call the contact by voipbuster account/sip set in x-lite?
THX. |

Agree with Juan C.
But try "connection.voipbuster.com" instead of "voipbuster.com"
Saw somewhere that it worked!
Sometimes people use stun.voipbuster.com too: Try them all!
Hope this helps! |

Because I dont have the Sipura in this moment, and I cannot try.
In my voipbuster profile I've got a voip number +801########## but I cant call that number by x-lite, I get many different error, 400, 486 , not found, busy here and someone else, where I'm wrong?? Shall I use a particular account or configuration to call that voip number? Maybe I dont have to be logged on voipbuster software? I'd need a step-by-step support, from zero. Thanks. |

I think you will find that +801 number is not actually a VOIP in Number just some kind of internal ID - There has been some specific discussion of this on the Voipbuster Forum - you can read a little more about it there.
Why not use your Voipuser number for your inbound calls and divert it using the control panel. |

If I call by voipbuster account another geographical voip number the x-lite shows exactly that number.
What do you mean about to use my nb for inbound calls?? |

But the problem is - if I make a call using Voipbuster it shows the exact same number - the number is not specific to your account.

The Voipuser number provided free of charge when you signed up to Voipuser - click on My Numbers and My SIP Account on the left panel to see and alter your setup. |
