In all honesty, I don't think that the problems I'm having with voicecheap originate from my setup. I was using the free trial offer with no issues at all. I also use FreeWorldDialup with both X-Lite and SJ softphones, and while I appreciate that isn't quite the same technology, I think that if the trouble was at my end, that would be troublesome as well.
For the record, I'm using Voipcheap's own V2.07 build 211 beta client for my connection, running an XP sp2 on a Belkin Wireless network. I'm using a bog standard internet phone handset connected to the sound card which is as steady as a rock.
I can accept that beta programs will have teething problems, but what is annoying is that Finarea
must be aware of these issues, yet they don't have the common courtesy to post these on their website, or reply to their customers' grievances. I think you'd agree that this is unacceptable business practice, and unless somebody makes a noise, it's unlikely to improve.
