Hi all,

I m using x-pro and xlite from last 6 months in Pakistan, it was working fine for voipuser and voipbuster accouns but from last few day i m getting the login error " Login Timed out Cotact Network Admin".

I m using broadband internet connection, which assign IP by DHCP.

Can any one help me out to solve this problem. I have gone through all the topics with this subject but still could not found any solution.

Please help me.

I have checked with my Internet Service provider, they said that they are not blocking port 5060.

At the same time i have installed VOIP service offered by local Pakistani Internet Service provider (Brain Net), there service is working fine in any network. They are using sip port 8891.

Only problem with voipfone.co.uk, voipbuster and voipuser.org.

Voipuser.org SIP domain name has changed to sip.voipuser.org. Try this name please.

Please, also capture X-Lite's Diagnostics Log and post it here

You posted just what X-lite sent to voipuser.org. You didn't post the response. I Have some questions for you:

- ¿Are you receiving a response?
- ¿Do you have a STUN server configured?
- ¿Does your ISP provide you a public or private IP Address?
- ¿Are you using a router/NAT?
- ¿Did you ports forwarding? (probably this is not necessary).
- ¿Have you made any changes to your configuration recently?
- ¿What kind of NAT if XLite reporting when it starts execution?

It would be usefull if you post your configuration.

When i start xlite

it says

discovering firwall
discovered open IP
then takes time to logging in
and finaly
login time out; contact admin

I have also tried the stun.voipuser.org

My internet service provider is providing public IP address (DHCP)

I am not using any NAT router. computer is connected directly to cable modem

No port forwarding
no changes in setting
no NAT response by xlite

Can you confirm if you are getting response from the sip servers by checking your diagnostic logs for x-lite. Also ping to those sip servers to check if you are getting response and what is your response time? People are reporting problems also on voxilla.com forum.

Can you give us a link to the thread?

Kijaz - sounds like a silly question, but are you sure your password is in correctly?

Here is the link:
http://voxilla.com/forum-viewtopic-t-4986.html

I had a similar incident like this, I was helping someone setup X-pro with voipbuster account about 10 days ago and they were getting the same login time out message, I checked the account here in Canada and it was logging in fine. I did configure the STUN server and finally thought there is some speed issue or some thing strange and now these reports are confirming some thing wrong going in Pakistan regarding the sip.

You sure can register to any VoSP with different ports other than 5060. Try to setup your ATA/IP Phone/Softphone to use other ports, i.e. > 10,000, and see if it will register. If so, then expect this port will be blocked too by your country.

You can't actually Mazi, the listening port is set server-side.
