I just need to be pointed in right direction as to where listings are comparing all the different providers. I am with sipgate at present and paying 0.59p per min on 1000 tarif.
Any advance on the above.
Cheers

Hi

Ok if you use 1000 minutes then yes you are paying .59p, but if not you will be paying far more. The tarrif is workable for sipgate as the majority of users will not use 1000 minutes.

Also they know you will want to call mobiles which are 14.9ppm and are billed by the minute not second as per other suppliers.

Peronally for my business i use voiptalk silver tarrif, its been rock solid, I have suffered no down time ithe last 15 months and the prices espcially mobiles are competative.

You don’t have to restrict yourself to one provider, shop around. I’m currently using Gossiptel for international Landlines, Voiptalk for UK Mobiles, Sipgate for 08xx and Blueface for Irish Mobiles. Over the last 18 months all have been generally reliable, Gossiptel had a few issues following a system change/relocation but has been rock solid since, Sipgate have had about 4 minor issues, Voiptalk have been consistently solid as have Blueface (only used for the last 4 months). The additional benefit of using multiple providers, is that should one have a problem, you don’t lose service.

I'm also with VoIPtalk silver, but my experience is different. I bought it to use the SMS callback service, but it turns out my UK mobile to US landline (Hawaii) calls just don't work at all - absolutely unintelligble voice. And their support for billing problems is a real catastrophe... as in, what color do you want your BS today? In fact, I am about to cancel my account and switch to Gossiptel - at considerable incovenience - but I refuse to give my money to companies like VoIPtalk/Telappliant that have a total lack of customer focus.
