VoIP Voicemail

Hello Everyone,

We are looking for some 10-15 active users that would like to help us test a new voicemail system that we have put in place.

It's is a general voicemail system, so a general message will be played to the caller then the caller's message will be emailed to you. The voicemail will become active either when your (SIP) destination is not reachable or after 20 seconds of ringing.

We do need active people who actually receive calls on their numbers as we would like some feed back on the system, which is useless if your number is not being used.

For now we have to manually setup users for this voicemail system, so please reply here and i will contact you to further arrange setup.

Note: Please make sure that your website account is up-to-date as the system will use the email address set there as the email address where you will receive the voicemail message.

I would like to, and be prepared to give you a hand, but as I've only just set up my number, and am "still in beta" on it, I don't honestly have the traffic at present.

Voicemail to email works a treat. It took a few minutes for the mail to arrive but worked fine.

The email subject could be a little clearer. Although it does give the number called, the callers number and (i think) date and time.

Nice.

Count me in - my traffic is sporadic but I'd certainly like to try it out.

HI Ian,

just send me a private message with the number you'd like the voicemail to be activated on. Please make sure that your email address in the website profile is current as i'll take a snapshot of that as the email address to send the voicemail to. There is no easy way to change it yourself yet, so please makes sure that it is a proper working email account.

Please let me know if the beta is still ongoing and whether I have to setup anything on my account.

We're out of beta testing for VoiceMail now, so it will be added as a standard feature on the control panel for everybody shortly.
