Hi All, I'm somewhat new to VoIP and just set up a new Asterisk server. I spent a bit of time working on the voipuser connection before I discovered the messages here on the forum indicating that the service is temporarily down (since 12/6/09, I believe).

Would it be possible to put a notice up on the voipuser home page? Since many people are off work for the holidays, I suspect that a higher than usual number are experimenting with voip. If they choose to use voipuser for their experimentation, it could be quite frustrating for them. I think it would be extremely helpful to put up an outage notification so that they don't try in vein to get connected. Spekaing from my own experience, it's hard enough the first time even when everything is working right!

Thank you

THe status of the servers are held here:

For the time being I suggest you try another "free" service such as Voxalot (basic version) or Sipsorcery. There are others and I only mention these as I use both of them and I know that they are working normally at present.
