I am new to this whole VOIP thing an feel it is the future of telephone, at least for a while. I am opening a business and there is an old Nortel system in the office and I would likely have to have it programed and then deal with all of that, or go with VOIP.

Can anyone tell me why I would do one or the other and if VOIP is the way to go then which companies would be the best. I will have 3-4 employees and using Verizon's fibre optic internet.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.
