MaxRoam Enter Asian Market

MaxRoam (Cubic Telecom) and Global Roaming Limited (based in Hong Kong) have today announced a joint venture travel SIM play for the Asian market called BuzzRoam:-

In 2008 over 48.5 million passengers passed through Hong Kong International Airport.2, most of them on business making it a key financial hub. Cloete says: “We are extremely excited to be launching Buzzroam in Hong Kong, as we believe it is the perfect market to show consumers the benefits and savings of using Buzzroam.”

It looks a lot like a simple rebrand of Maxroam, with a very similar rate table including over a Euro a minute in some EU countries

Apparently GRI and Maxroam have nearly got a working API, or it's said to be in testing, several months after swapping from Israel to Belgian-based SIMs

You still can't yet see the balance while logged in. Call forwarding still does not work. It seems difficult to get the free Maxroam DID as advertised, as queries about this and other subjects can be closed as solved after a while without a response from Maxroam

and Maxroam's monthly price of renting DIDs has risen to €4 a month, where €0.99 was mentioned before. What is the Buzzroam rate?
