I am able to make call but the called person cannot able to hear me intermittently, sometime there is delay.

Is this a known issue.
I used this service long ago, then it was working perfectly.

Can someone help me in this regard.

Could be an issue with your ISP. If it's intermittent, very hard to try and analyse the fault.

At long last I got my Siemens S685IP to work with sip.voipuser.org
But I have the same problem as the OP with my voice braking up.

All is well with localphone.com, the service provider that I normally use.

I have an 8MB Broadband connection and actual IP throughput achieved during the tests is around - 7000 kbps (down-stream)and 448 kbps (up-stream)

Any tweaks that might help?

I am also having the same problem of my outgoing audio breaking up. I am using a Fritzbox 7270 and it always worked just fine until the recent outgoing VOIPuser work was completed. I have 5 other VOIP services configured on the Fritzbox and they work perfectly. The Fritzbox reports a packet loss of anything up to 44% when using the VOIPuser line.

There are two things that you can try. If you can, try running STUN. If that does not work then try forwarding ports 5060 & 5080 UDP and 8000 - 8020 UDP fromt your router to the phone (and set your phone to use them). Really, you need to post more information about your set up to get confident help.

Strange that it always used to work with all the same settings though. The echotest is fine and only outbound calls to the PSTN suffer from odd portions of outgoing audio missing. I can monitor this reliably by ringing my own PSTN number.

I am not in the UK so I cannot call my PSTN number except a great expense but the last time I did the sound was near perfect. One thing, if you are calling yourself and the phones are close together the echo/silence suppression will get confused and chunks of audio will be missing and this test is misleading.. you must be sure that one phone does not hear the other or you. I can call my home PSTN phone an there is no problem there and the sound is better that using the phone company.

I am absolutely certain that some outgoing audio is going missing, as is borne out by constant complaints from people I ring and the Fritzbox logging packet loss on those calls. Sorry, but this only started happening after the work on the outbound calling was completed a month or so ago.

In that case it is very likely a problem with ports. So try doing first STUN if that doesn't work forward the ports. Another thing you can try is turning on Upnp support. I can connect to Voipuser OK but only because I have forwarded ports and run STUN. You should not really need both but It seems to be necessary with the moden/router that I have.
