I have a PAP2T-NA that I don't get audio on on incomming call. Neither the caller or the called party can hear the other. Outgoing calls work fine.

Now I have a PAP2 from Vonage connected to the same home router and I have no problem with it. It seems therefore that the problem is in the configuration of the PAP2T-NA.

I was just wondering if there is a difference between these devices operationally. What would cause this problem?

Welcome to Voipuser Stopopup

When you say ...

Do you mean when you connect to Vonage with the 'NA' or when you connect to an alternative Voip provider?

The Vonage provided device is designed to be 'provisioned' by them (they load the setup parameters for the device) the NA device will not accept the same provisioning info and using it with an alternative provider may require you to set 'Stun' or to open specific ports to get it to work.

A bit more info from you will allow us to help further

The Vonage adapter(PAP2) works okay. The problem is with the PAP2T-NA, configured for another provider. As mentioned, both devices are connected to the same router. Just wanted to know why one would work and the other has problems with incomming call audio.

Hope that clarifies my query. TIA
