need help to call international

hi,
I just learn asterik few days. I already set up for trixbox and i can call in the lan network. I want to make international call. I read in the trixbox without tears that I need to buy a sip service todo that. What can I do?
Additionally, I use vonage in my work place. Can I use it as a trunk for local and mobile phone for asterik. How to connect asterik with vonage adapter.? Thanks and wish you guy have a a nice weekend.

You have several options, either you can first do some tests using Voipuser (we have echotest and PSTN facilities for experimental purposes) or you should be able to login to your existing Vonage account from a second location.

Better still set up the Vonage account on your new server and log into it from your office location. You will have free calls between the two locations and (depending on the equipment you have) the possibility of handling calls from each location at the other.

Could you tell me how to set up vonage on the trixbox? when I receive a call by my customer, they will call to this vonage number and the trixbox will route this to the extension right? When I make a phone call, I just call out and my customer will see this vonage number as a caller ID ?

Your chosen provider should also be able to provide you with info on setting up Trixbox.
