ERROR 1101 (42000) at line 2: BLOB/TEXT column 'body' can't

I'm new to OpenSER/Kamailio/OpenSIPS, but I am receiving the following error after trying to install the latest version from trunk...

I create the mysql database structure with

/usr/local/sbin/kamdbctl create

the script requests my MySQL password for root:
and then it says "WARNING: Your current default mysql characters set cannot be used to create DB. Please choice another one from the following list:"

I select ascii but then get the following error

INFO: creating database openser ...
ERROR 1101 (42000) at line 2: BLOB/TEXT column 'body' can't have a default value
ERROR: Creating core tables failed!

I think this is a mysql error, but the problem is I do not know which file to edit to solve he issue. This is with ubuntu 8.10. if anyone has a solution, it would be thankful thanks.

The only blob/text column with default value is in msilo table.

Locate msilo-create.sql and change the definition of that column.

What is the mysql version you have? I get no such error and that column specification is there for quite some time.
