hi ,

i am new to this VOIP world too .. planning to start calling card business ... i just completed my research about stuff which needed for this business ...but bit confused about 0800 , DIDS ...

1) Non-geographic numbers from 0800 (UK toll-free / free phone), will be use for calling card customers calling from landline.

2) Geographic access numbers / DDIs / DIDs : will be for calling card customers calling from mobile phone.

just cunfused about above terms ...

i already made deal with one company to purchase SIP based calling Card System and A-Z Termination Route for my desired place ...

Welcome to VoIP User.

Quote:
1) Non-geographic numbers

Means numbers which do not give away a geographic identity and which are generally priced at a fixed per minute rate from wherever in the country of origin they are called. EG, 44845 is UK National rate.

Quote:
2) Geographic access numbers

The opposite of the above. EG, 44208 prefix is London, UK.
