I have got 2 numbers from didx.net. One number is from UK and the other is From USA.

Now, i got another VOIP number (SIP) from a local provider here in bahrain and it works fine. I have it configured on Eyebeam and i can make and receive calls fine.

I am trying to forward me DIDx numbers to my sip provider. I can change the ring to setting in didx.

On eyebeam, my username is 13388343 and server is fts.etisalcom.net:5060

when i go to didx do i put the ringto as sip and the value as 13388343 [!at] fts.etisalcom.net (replace the [!at] with a @) or 13388343 [!at] fts.etisalcom.net (replace the [!at] with a @):5060

I tried both and it doesnt seem to work. Can somebody else call me and check whether on my DID or on my direct SIP.

The general configurations of my sip provider are mentioned on this page https://www.etisalcom.com/retail_ETISL_config.asp incase someone wants to have a look. On the website server is listed as ftp.etisal infact it is fts.etisalcom.net

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Farukh

Welcome to Voipuser forums.

Isn't Bahrain one of those places that block or intfere with voip communications? It may be that port 5060 only is blocked but I think the blocking may be more severe than that. If the regulation there have changed and they have stopped blocking the please let us know.

i think you got it bahrain confused with UAE. i believe UAE is the country that blocks all voip traffic.

We have it all working here skype, gizmo, and other voip services SIP and otherwise. port 5060 isnt blocked. because the local number i got is from a Registered company in Bahrain that has got a lincense to give out local numbers.

You can see it on their site aswell. They use SIP.

Hard to tell who does what now. Bahrain is still one of the states in the list that block or inhibits voip. If they don't then that's good! I attempted to call your number and can confirm that it does not work. It does seem to attempt to route to the number. Are you logged in and is the port 5060 open and forwarded to your computer from your router?
