Greetings to all,

So I'm in a pickle... I'm running asterisk 1.4.24 and I'm having issues with DTMF. AT&T is the provider with Cisco devices and if I set the DTMF to rfc2833 then weird things happen. DTMF tones get stuck or they are inconsistent (work for one minute then not the next), but if I set them for info then they work perfectly. One issue, they only work outbound. Inbound to my IVR doesn't work at all. So I figure that AT&T is sending them to me another way (rfc2833, I'd bet). Is there a way to accept DTMF from the carrier one way, but process them from the endpoints as another?

I thought I read something where you could add a line to extensions and it would do that, but now I can't find it.

Thanks,

Tom
