Hi all,

I am a newbie on VOIP, and this is the reason why I need your help here!

I've bought these components:
- OPENVOX A400 w/1 FXO module
- GrandStream GXP2000
- Siemens Gigaset A580 IP

I have one PSTN line in the office.

For the incoming calls, I need to handle them through Trixbox, in order to provide on-hold music, internal numbers routing etc..

For the outgoing calls, I just need to use the standard PSTN line, without any VOIP.

How should I set Trixbox and the phones to work like this?

I don't have any SIP account, and I don't think I need any, since I'm not using any VOIP in the outgoing calls.

Please help me out!

thank you sincerely

I'm not an expert by any stretch, but you will need to configure the ZAP trunk and set up an IVR or have a receptionist extension. That is about it to be honest, it's just getting your head round the terminology.
