Voip Ata That Supports Fax

I need recommendations on a VOIP ATA that can support fax sending, inbound and outbound....please help

Besides an ATA that supports for a T.38 FAX CoDec, your VoSP will also need to support this T.38 FAX CoDec. For a P2P VoIP call, both ends need to use an ATA with a T.38 FAX CoDec. Most of ATA devices that use a TI AR7 chipset, i.e. Linksys RTP300/WRTP54G/PAP2v2, DLink VTA-VR, Uniden UIP1869V, etc., have a built-in T.38 FAX CoDec.

I think the only model that Linksys officialy support for fax is the SPA2102.

I don't have nor use an SPA2102. However, from what I understood the voice module (VM) on an SPA2102 is based on an ESS chipset, like the one used on a PAP2v1/PAP2T. If so, then I haven't seen any support on T.38 CoDec on this device. As such, I believe it makes no sense for Linksys to officially announce its support for FAX on an SPA2102.
