Dear All,
I find that presence.so is missing in /usr/local/lib/openser/modules/. Does presence.so gets created automatically when openser is installed.

Is there any special step which has to be followed during the installation of openser inorder to create presence.so

In versions that are older than or Kamailio/OpenSER 1.4.x, you have to edit the Makefile and remove presence related modules from the variable "exclude_modules".

In kamailio (openser) 1.5 you have to edit Makefile.vars and set (there are comments explaining):

MODS_PRESENCE=on

Thanks for the above post. I could find presence.so .Now,I get the following error on re-starting openser

ERROR:core:set_mod_param_regex: parameter <force_active> not found in module <presence>
Apr 8 17:45:19 [28798] CRITICAL:core:yyerror: parse error in config file, line 78, column 17-18: Can't set module parameter
Apr 8 17:45:19 [28798] ERROR:core:set_mod_param_regex: parameter <192.168.64.180> not found in module <presence>
Apr 8 17:45:19 [28798] CRITICAL:core:yyerror: parse error in config file, line 79, column 20-21: Can't set module parameter
Apr 8 17:45:19 [28798] ERROR:core:main: bad config file (2 errors)
