how can people call fro free to get on pstn ?

I need really urgent help, I do not know and understand anything with configurations with voip, but I need that my family who live in other country far away, can call me for free and the call is goingt o my pstn phone, cause hard for me to use always pc and headset, , i tried enum, but I do no know what to do with it and how to configure thiss, haven oone here with me who can helop me to do this for me.
i do not know how to get phone pstn ring when call me.
please help me.

Hello gray, thank you, well the problem is that they don`t want to use voip at all, and I am always that person who has to call, eventhought I told them we could talk from the internet fro free from voip to voip, but my brother and nefew don`t want to use it, eventhought they have a computer, its not fair toward me, so I try to do everything to keep in touch with them and have to call to their phone. I know there is sipbroker, but in their country is only one sipbroker pstn number and far away from thier City and it would be a long distance call for them. They don`t want to pay, I have to pay. So I don`t no what to do anymore with them. They only would call me when the call would be free for them. My nefew uses skype from time totime, so this is less a problem. I signed up for "mywebcalls.com now they have cheap calls, I paid 5 dollars, but still not received a reply.Is tehre any other soloution? Thanks again.

If they don't like to be on a computer using VoIP to talk to others, then there is a better way to do VoIP (without using a computer) by means of a SIP compliant Analog Telephone Adapters (ATA) + a regular or cordless telephone unit connected to the ATA device on each end. The most common ATA device is the Linksys PAP2T-NA. You can use Google to search where to get this device for less. Of course, this still requires a broadband Internet connection. If your brother and/or nephew has an unlimited broadband Internet connection, you can get by with a single ATA + a (cordless) phone unit installed on their premise. All you need is to configure their ATA device to register to a free SIP compliant VoIP company (VoSP) with a free DID number local to your area code. Then, use any telephone to call them locally for free as long as you wish and/or until either one drops.
