I'm looking for a VoIP provider that won't restrict how much I can be on the phone. My girlfriend lives out of state and we fall asleep on the phone together, in addition to lots of phone XXXXXX. I've been sending out lots of sales inquiries and they always get responses indicating some kind of xxxx minutes per month cap. I need something truly unlimited. Any suggestions?

You have to face it, bandwidth and the use of the network cost money. You might be able to get each other ATA devices and connect with them. Many allow you to set the max call length so that the call will get disconnected after a fixed time.

How about this method?

if you live in the USA the only option i know for truelly unlimited calling without the likely chance of having your service cancelled is either an unlimited long distance with a POTS landline service or a cell phone from either metroPCS or crikit(assuming that one of thoose two are in your area). i have never heard of a case of those companies cancelling service. alternately you need pure voip calling with ATA's or softphones on both ends of the connection.

If both ends have an ATA then there is no need at all to have a phone deal bu you must have internet. The ATAs (or soft clients for that matter) can connect via a free service or in most cases they can connect directly.
