This is now 5 days that I can`t connect to mysipswitch, when trying to go to their website, error, server not found.
When trying to go to their forum, the same thing.
My ISP provider also tried to go to their website, the same problem, site not found.
This is strange, so I can`t do anything anymore with it.
I would like to know if someone from Israel has the same problems? It seems to work in other country`s, but not in Israel, help.
I have Linksys Wireless Router, and Cable fast Internet.
I use Linux and Windows XP Home.

Which SIP accounts do you use via mysipswitch? Did you try logging into them direct? Did you test with a login to Voipuser?

Can you check your hardware by logging in using a softphone from an alternative PC behind an alternative router?

Has your ISP started a 'block VOIP' policy?

You need to isolate and test these various scenarios to work out the cause of the problem.

Thank you gray for your response.
I use only a softphone, I do not have ATA, I use x-lite softphoe on ubuntu, and I can login to voipuser, voxalot, gizmoproject without any problem when using them without mysipswitch.
I have incomming and outgoing sound, all works fine,so I am puzzled, it is 5 days now like this since my Cable Modem Stoped working and I was without Internet, and when it came back mysipswitch would just not exist anymore inside Israel, but also their website do not exist inside Israel, it exists from Canada, UK etc, but not in Israel. I am confused.
I hope I did notforget something you asked. I hope it is what you need to know.
Oh, no my ISP has not blocked Voip, cause I can use them when I login single. On mysipswitch I have also FWD.Pulver, but pulver will not login single, it would only login from mysipswitch.

On your "MySipswitch" all of your providers were logged in OK. I have disabled them for you as you requested. Why you cannot see the MySipswitch web pages is a mystery but it seems that there is some kind of problem with routing near your country.

Definitely a MySipswitch problem them and a quick check of their website forum tells us this ...

Quote:

Hi All,

On the 10th of March 2009 some new rules have been put in place on the Blueface firewalls due to some serious and ongoing security incidents against Blueface systems.

Unfortunately this has impacted some mysipswitch users since the mysipswitch SIP agents and web site are currently hosted on Blueface systems and are behind the same firewalls.

We have made progress in plans to migrate the mysipswitch service to the Amazon EC2 cloud and off Blueface systems. We will try and speed this migration up so that any users currently unable to use the mysipswitch will regain access.

No doubt they will update this thread ...

When they make a fix

It seems that the problem also affects Italy and the Lebanon. Possibly due to out of date routing tables?

A case of "wait and see" I think.

Hi I can get to the site an forums from here.

You may want to clear your arp cache and try a traceroute to it to see if its your end.

Hi ian, as you can see befor it has nothing to do with my end, cause italy, lebanon and israel and lots of other countrys are affected, everything is explained above already, and my question is if someone who is not affected with it can go for me to their forum and find out if there are some updates about this problem cause blueface blocked many countrys now.
thanks again.

Hi

I asked you to do a traceroute to isolate where you are being blocked.

Googling about find almost no other users with your problem.

If you could post the results of a traceroute it realy would help. As just saying "I cant connect, Help me " without giving any info to go on does make it hard to help. Have you tried a transparent proxy to access the service ?

Trace route: from a terminal window type.

traceroute sip.mysipswitch.com > route

The file route will contain the routing info.

I know that all those countrys are cannot get any website from mysipswitch.com because of this: Italy, Lebanon, my country is Irael, and also my IP provider tried to get into their website and get that this site is not existing, more I cannot do, so we both me and my IP provider lie? Italy and Lebano lie?
so there is nothing to do. thanks for the hnon help to go to the website for someone who is noteffected to find out when they will fix this issue.

The program 'traceroute' can be found in the following packages:
* traceroute-nanog
* traceroute
Try: sudo apt-get install <selected package>
bash: traceroute: command not found
XXXXXXXX:~$
