cisco 7960 converted to sip not working with trixbox

i have just converted cisco 7960 to a sip firmware pos3-08-9-00.
but i have the following problems when connecting to my trixbox
i get dial tone when the line button is pressed but no dial tone is heard on the handset .
i cant make any extn to extn or outgoing calls, all call request hits the trixbox but its not getting to its destination

Thats not real dialtone its generated by the phone itself

Are you sure your phone is registered with the service you are trying to call (hint - is there a little 'x' next to the name of the service on the screen?)

Without your specific setup into its almost impossible to provide specific help, a forum search for Cisco 7940 or Cisco 7960 (same setup info) will get you some further reading and links to other resources.
