I am a new bee and have a project with asterisk

Hello everyone,

I am to create an IM client with openfire and asterisk-IM and asteriskWin32.

I have successfully integrated the IM features in my client code and now I want to give support to VOIP also in it. I have the connection between Openfire and Asteriskwin32 both sitting in local machine in a LAN. However I am unable to uses the extension and call I got the configuration details from this video tutorial "http://benperove.com/howto/setup-openfire-chat-server-and-configure-asterisk-im-plugin/" however this does not show the Asterisk Win32 side of configuration which I think would be a problem.

Also, to be more specific I also want to know that Openfire provided calling the users within its own network but not for outside ones so will asterisk provide me with this facility or no. like with the users of Gtalk and Yahoo
