Interesting Scoble interview with Jajah who talk about their VoIP network (spread across 5 global datacenters) and its ability to determine highest quality routes keeping them ahead of the competition on the QoS stakes (6 patents filed on that).
Also showing off their new iPod Touch application which is very cool, and available OEM under licence, so you can have it too.

What I like about Jajah is they're not just trying to shift cheap minutes. They have a full Managed Service platform:-

... which counts Yahoo!, Plaxo and EMobile amongst its clients.
They also have a full API which enables developers to produce all kinds of applications for themselves using the Jajah platform:-

Jajah are positioning themselves in a space for voice
applications and not just cheap calling. They recognise that they probably won't be the originator of the next killer app in the voice space - you probably will be. They support that and provide the infastructure that you need.
That's why their iPod Touch application, also available on the iPhone, can be licensed as an OEM product. You can turn it into whatever you need it to be.
No they're not trying to shift cheap minutes, they're trying to shift expensive minutes!
I tried and abandoned Jajah quite a while ago. Very intermittent service and absolutely no customer support.
I got a note today from Jajah with the following from their Press Release:-

Exactly. And that's what makes them a good
business and not just a group of techies playing around with a technology. The "expensive minutes" market is the market to be in.
