Hi, everybody! I was reading Dean's entry "How To Put Click to Call On Your Website", but I think I need something different.

How do I use click-to-call but only to receive calls from my visitors? I mean, I want them to click on a "Call me" button on my web site and have that call redirected to my Asterisk server.

Is is possible?

Thanks!

Hi

Not 100% sure what you mean. but the solution posted works as follows

User comes to your site. They see the Call Me button. they enter their phone number and then you are called, when you answer they are called and you can speak to them. This is all handeled by asterisk.

Hi ianplain, thanks for your answer. That's what I undestood. The thing is I will be receiving requests from people in different countries. So calling all of them could become a bit expensive.

What I was wondering is if there's a way to take advantage of the headsets and mics people have on their PCs, so they click on a "Call me" button and they can talk directly to us (without the visitor having to go wait for the call on their phone).

But I'm not sure if there's a way to take that "call" coming from the visitor's PC and transfer it to my Asterisk server.

Anybody has any idea?
