Hi Eliafino,

I´ve been experimenting with your steps to setup !@£$%^ on a ATA without succeed, this is the content of my creden.ini file:

[Authentication Details]
AUTO_LOGIN=false
USER_EMAIL=redox123******
USER_EMAIL_PWD= 1100001 1100001 1100001 1100001
USER_VDID=777019987265
USER_VDID_PWD= 1100011 111001 110100 1100001 110100 110010 110101 111001
Email_Reg=found

I used USER_VDID .and. USER_VDID_PWD as username and password but when i try to call someone always shows the message "403 forbidden", would you please try with my credentials and explaine to me what my error is.

I´ll apreciate your help.-

Thank you.

onofre :
I thought that this forums were for asking for help and to help others, i just say in earlier posts that i want to setup xten and eyebeam following the steps from eliafino user, but that setup doesn´t work for me, always shows 403 forbbiden error, is there someone that can tell me if i am doing something wrong, i read the file creden.ini and found my sip user USER_VDID, i put that as my username, and put USER_VDID_PWD as the password in binary and on reverse, on domain i put one of the list tha appears on a post of eliafino. Did i miss something?

Just in case you have not tested. Do your various setups work OK on say FreeWorld Dialup or Voipuser? Make sure your port forwarding etc is OK. It is nice to know that something else is not the problem before worrying about !@£$%^. I have not used !@£$%^ myself so I cant help you there.

I have tested your account, no error happens...
so do you type in the correct password? the password you type in should NOT be the [1100011 111001 110100 1100001 110100 110010 ] you should change the binary one into usual digits. then you have to REVERSE the order of number that you just decode... EX: if the number you decoded is 12345, then the real password is 54321...

Good luck

Hi! I'm relatively new to voip and stuff.. I've been really trying very hard to understand the setup setting for !@£$%^ on other SIP softphones..

My question is do I have to have this ATA Device or can I just use X-Lite alone and register my !@£$%^ account directly?

Current XLite version is 3.0

wat do I key in in the various fields:

Display Name:
user Name:
Password:
Authorization user name:
Domain:84.45.70.10

I'm specifically confused @ the password field, m i supposed to key in binary values or actual password given by !@£$%^ ?

I managed to get my exact 777XXXXXXXXX nos by dialing another softphone service. When I key in the 777XXXXXXXXX as my user name and authorisation user name field, I get this voice error message "This Password is not valid".

Please help me out...i've been trying...maybe not trying hard enough.

Thank you!

Hi there,

I am also trying to use !@£$%^. Can u tell me what values I need to put in which fields. I managed to set as per intrusctions but receiving not a valid id message. So, if one can give me what value I need to put in which field on xlite then it can help us a lot.

Regards,
Pranav

thanks for the settings, they still work, but can't make any calls, how to call landlines or mobiles, i tried calling to US with 001+area_code+phone_number and also by dialing 1+area_code+phone_number, all the times it says this is an invalid account number, what could be the problem and how to dial the numbers

1) To find out which SIP password to use, you have to login with !@£$%^ software client, at least once.
After your first successful login the information we need is saved into the file CREDEN.INI,
which can be found in the program installation directory of !@£$%^ (c:\program files\!@£$%^).

2) Now open CREDEN.INI in your text editor (mostly double click is enough).
You will find your authentication details there.

Code:
[Authentication Details]
AUTO_LOGIN=false
user_email= your !@£$%^ login email address/id
user_email_pw= your !@£$%^ login password, encoded
USER_VDID= your SIP ID!
USER_VDID_PW= your SIP pw, which is reversed and encoded!

3) To find out your SIP pw use eliafino's coding table for decoding and reverse the order of the code.

For example:

If you find following information in your CREDEN.INI file.

Code:
[...]
USER_VDID=777123456789
USER_VDID_PW= 110001 110002 110003 //decoded 123, reversed 321
[...]

Your SIP login information for this example would be.

Code:
SIP id= 777123456789
SIP pw= 321
SIP proxy= one of these:

84.45.70.8
84.45.70.9
84.45.70.10
84.45.70.11
84.45.70.12
84.45.70.13
84.45.70.14
84.45.70.15
84.45.70.16

Thanks to gteddy on VoXaLot Forum!
