Hello, I am new to the pbx and my provider didn't provide much more then the gui and a login, so i have been figuring things out on my own.

I am trying to setup an follow me, but everything i have done just gives me a busy single. I created a new user with an extension that is not on a phone, so that i can setup an inbound call rule to foward to my cell for a specific time frame.

Can anyone help me with this?

thanks,
mark

Hi Mark

My best advice is go back to your supplier, If this was a new install then they need to have sat down with you and explained how it works and provided some documentation.

I guess you have some form of freepbx setup but its very hard to say.

Suppliers like this give everyone a bad name.

True. They seem to sleep during the day and work by night, but that doesn't do me much good!

I have figured out most of the system, which is pretty cool. It is just the follow me, I cannot figure out.

Hi

You need to tell us what you have. There are many flavours of Asterisk with a GUI.

You also need to show what you have setup and what is failing. IE the CLI output of a failed call.

At the moment it very hard to say what is or isnt setup and what or what isnt working. Its like ringing the garage and saying "my cant wont go, whats wrong with it?" and expecting them to know What type of car etc.
