Tried it. It seems to be quite demanding of computer resources under Vista but does give two way video if with with choppy sound. (My computer is one of those under powered "Vista ready" laptops.) It will probably please a lot of gmail users. MS Windows only at present as far as I could tell.

Yes, it is beta but fairly prominently advertised on the gmail website. With Google running the show I guess there is a good chance that it will become available for linux users.
