Jazinga VoIP System for the SoHo Business

Written by dean on Sep 30, 2008 - 10:20 AM

Alec Saunders points us at Jazinga, an all in one WiFi Access Point, Firewall, Router and VoIP PBX.

Just over US$1,000 gets you the box which will support an average 20 head business (less if you're running a call center or require multiple conference bridging). Four CAT V ports with 2 FXS and 1 FXO provide connectivity into the office cable LAN.

Most interesting is the way the Jazinga configures IP handsets on your LAN for you. That's intelligent user-interface design. Most in-house or out-sourced IT support folks are not telephony experts. Devices which make the installation and configuration process easy will win them over, and they're the people that are being sold here, not the COO or CFO.

Clever, nicely packaged and at the right price. Looks like a winner to me.
