Hey i'm asking for anyone's help here...I moved from one city to another and therefore i have different ISP that i had when i was using the Voip. Now my voip service doesnt work. I was told by my VoSp that since i changed internet provider a technician would have to come out to make some adjustments on the Voip box but they have to charge me for it (an arm and a leg by the way). They didnt want to tell me how i could do it, so i ask of any of you to please help me...if its possible for me to do it myself.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Voipuser forums.

You need to give us as much information as you can. What ISP are you using, what modem, router and ATA are you using? Who is the Voip provider and what problems are you getting? Does the ATA register with the Voip provider? Is the ATA locked to the provider?

I'm writing from Colombia, South America, and i used to have Dinanet ISP in Barrnaquilla, but moved to Bogota and curently have EPM as ISP with a Speedtouch DSL router (not wireless just the one provided by the ISP). The Voip provider is Orbitel or UNE as i believed it was taken over...the voip box itself is from Huawei technologies --- U-SYS IAD 101H.
Sorry dont know what ATA is and if im being too vague on the other things i put on here let me know...dot really know the terminology.
