had to post this as it's so strange
set up 4 SIPGate accounts
set up astrisk
all worked ok
then i swicthed my BT landline to First:Telecom
and when i test dialed my SIPGate numbers from my BT line i got a message "the service cannot be connected"
odd i thought
called SIPGate from mobile and all works OK
called SIPGate from work and all works OK
just my landline that was the problem
contacted First:Telecom, they were confused as well
then my wife calls me from home and the number pops up on my mobile, odd i thought as my home number should be withheld
contacted first:telecom and asked them to withhold my number
but that got me thinking
so i called my sipgate number from home but entered 141 first to withold my number and it worked !
and i figured out what the problem is
i live out in the sticks and only have a 5 digit number !
and sipgate does not like it !
so when i withold it works,
