New 3 Skype Phone Hits the Streets

A new version of the 3's Skype Phone arrived in the shops today for a pay-as-you-go price of £69.99 (£79.99 with £10 credit on the SIM), or free for contract customers.
The S2 Skypephone looks more up-market than the original Skype phone, and offers the same free Skype calling as its predecessor. The original Skype phone is still on sale at £39.99. The newer model is also more social-network focused, as it makes Facebook and Live Messenger accessible via a dedicated side button. 3 are also marketing the device as a music player, that interfaces with 3's own MusicStore, very much following in the steps of Apple's iTunes.
